Perspective — Sulkhan Metreveli

Sulkhan Metreveli is the founder and principal of Met Capital, a strategy and technology firm operating at the edge of markets, data, and AI. He leads initiatives in price forecasting, predictive modeling, and scalable platforms, always focused on turning complex systems into competitive leverage. The firm's proprietary algorithms and models are deployed in real-world environments, intentionally kept outside the public domain to protect IP and strategic advantage.

Beyond capital markets, Sulkhan co-leads a nonprofit platform focused on public interest technology, where economic tools and data systems are developed for broader societal impact. This work mirrors his core belief: that intelligence—artificial or otherwise—is not just built to optimize profit, but to model and shape better systems.

Academically, he has taught Big Data, AI, and Social Media at the University of Zurich's Institute of Mass Communication since 2012. His PhD, rooted in communication science and economics, explored how data drives pricing behavior. He draws from over 15 years of work in economic modeling and information dynamics, but always with an eye on real-world application.

At the foundation of his current research is a long-term inquiry into artificial consciousness—a deeply technical, highly private body of work with first results expected in the coming years.

Sulkhan operates across domains—markets, academia, public interest—quietly but deliberately. He builds systems that think, strategies that adapt, and organizations that do both.
